Founded in November 1989 with the name Nino Liguigli, the aim was to develop an exclusive fine art shipping company.
In 1991, it became Liguigli Fine Arts Service s.a.s and extended its services, opening the carpentry department for in-house crate building and packing.
Since January 2000, with new premises in Lodi, the company has around 3000 sq meters of storage area
Located near the Lodi tollbooth – highway A1 Milano-Bologna – right outside Milan, the company building is entirely freestanding with an inner and independent courtyard.
Liguigli Fine Arts Service opened a new branch office in Florence and Rome, with an independent courtyard, covered areas, carpentry department, storage and offices. All buildings are protected by security and alarm systems connected 24 hours with an efficient surveillance station service.
Our daily mission is to dedicate our services to institutions, museums, artists, collectors and art galleries through packing, crating, shipping and artwork installations.

Thanks to our established connections with many international fine art shipping subcontractors, we are able to cover activities all over the world, with the same high quality and care.
Storage services
Our immense covered spaces (3000 sq meters) allow customers to rent customized spaces in order to store their artworks. Thanks to our database management software, our clients are able to have an updated report on the movement of their artworks, also when they would be exhibited in exhibitions, which are under our company supervision.
We also offer free storage for empty crates and packing material during the whole exhibition period, allowing the host institutions to save their own storage spaces for other uses.
Insurance Policies
A privileged agreement with one of the most prestigious and international insurance companies – LLOYD’S & AXA ART – allows us to provide insurance coverage quickly and with decidedly convenient financial conditions. All policies are issued in accordance with artworks insurance standards (i.e. all risks/nail to nail insurance)
